Earth

Earth is the third planet of solar system. The age of earth is about 4,6 billion years. It has the atmosphere to protect the earth surface from solar radiation, meteor, and the others. This atmosphere cover the earth as high as 700 kilometer, and divided into Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, and Exosphere. 

Earth is the only one planet that people, animals, and plants can live in it. Because, there is ozone layer which together with earth’s magnetic field, blocks harmful solar radiation. The temperature in earth is between -70 degrees Celsius up to 55 degrees Celsius, depends on local climate. The rotation period is 23 hours 56 minutes 4 seconds. While the revolution is 365,24 days. 

Earth has a natural satellite, namely Moon. 70,8% of earth surface is water. While the air composition consists of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% water vapor, carbon dioxide, and the other gas.
